How One Girl Lost 15 Pounds In One Week

How one girl lost 15 pounds in one week: Hey readers, I have several back-logged emails with diets.  I’m not ignoring you, I’ve just been extremely busy!  I’ll get to posting your diets ASAP. :)  And thanks for continuing to send them in!

So… a young woman named Meg (real name) sent in this diet plan she used to lose 15 pounds in one week.  She was inspired by the alleged diet that Matthew McConaughey used to get down to an emaciated 131 pounds for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.  According to this site, Matthew ate only egg whites, Diet Coke and a piece of chicken each day.

Meg’s diet wasn’t much different.  This is what she ate every day for 7 days:

BREAKFAST: 4 servings of 25-calorie eggbeaters egg whites with a dash of pepper and chives, 2 huge glasses of distilled water with lemon squeezed in

LUNCH: 1/2 liter of Diet Coke, 4 servings of 25-calorie eggbeaters egg whites

DINNER: 1 chicken breast, halved, more Diet Coke

She started at 145 pounds and got down to 130 by the morning of the 8th day, where she then started re-introducing other foods back in.

That’s pretty impressive, and I’m not sure how typical that amount of weight loss is in such a short period of time!  However, Meg claims that she was eating tons of carb-loaded foods and candy prior to going on the diet, plus it was her first low carb effort.
